Slow Cooker Creamy Ranch Beef & Corn Bowties

If you’re looking for a dish that feels like a warm hug at the end of a long day, this Slow Cooker Creamy Ranch Beef & Corn Bowtie Pasta will hit the spot. It’s rich, cheesy, and full of comforting flavors—without needing you to stand over the stove for hours. The combination of ground beef, sweet corn, tangy ranch, and melty cheddar, all tied together with silky cream cheese, makes this recipe a weeknight winner. Let the slow cooker do the heavy lifting while you handle life (or just relax for once).

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef
  • 3 cups bowtie pasta (farfalle)
  • 1 can (15 oz) sweet corn, drained
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup milk (or heavy cream for extra richness)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh parsley or chives for garnish (optional)

Preparation

Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked and no longer pink. Drain any excess fat to keep the dish from turning greasy. Once the beef is browned and drained, transfer it to the slow cooker. Add the drained corn, ranch seasoning, cream cheese, milk, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir gently to combine—don’t worry if the cream cheese isn’t smooth yet. It’ll melt beautifully as it cooks.

Cover the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 4 hours. The ranch seasoning will infuse the mixture, while the cream cheese slowly melts into a rich, velvety sauce that coats every bite.

About 20 minutes before you’re ready to serve, boil the bowtie pasta in salted water according to package directions until al dente. Drain well and stir the hot pasta into the creamy slow cooker mixture.

Then comes the cheese—stir in the shredded cheddar while the pasta is still hot. The heat will melt it right into the dish, adding even more creaminess and a comforting cheesy bite that pulls everything together.

Taste and adjust salt and pepper if needed. If you want a touch of freshness or color, sprinkle chopped parsley or chives over the top. A pinch of red pepper flakes gives it a slight kick, or go all out and add more cheese on top—because why not?

Serve it warm, scoop it into bowls, and enjoy with a slice of crusty bread or a side salad. It reheats well the next day, making it perfect for leftovers. Just splash a little milk when reheating to keep the sauce smooth and luscious.

This recipe proves that easy doesn’t have to mean boring—and dinner doesn’t have to be a chore. Just rich, creamy goodness with every forkful.
